It's Spring!
As always, our lives are incredibly busy right now! With Spring's arrival comes baseball, and this year we have 2 playing! Wade is coaching Camden's T-Ball team, the Cardinals, and assisting with Derek's AAA team, the Yankees. This should make for lots of time at the ball park over the coming weeks.
As for the house - for the past few months we have done paperwork and WAITED on the mortgage company to complete our refinance. We were just informed that they decided NOT to grant us any additional funding. So, with less than 70% complete on the house, I'm not sure what the next step is. Nothing has been done on the house since September. Although we had another builder lined up, he needed guaranteed funds to get started. The mortgage company told us the Maturities Dept would call us to let us know what the next step is, but we haven't heard from them yet.
As always, prayers are appreciated! We are walking day by day in faith, and there have been many blessings along the way. God is more than able to correct our situation, in whatever way He sees fit. This path is certainly not the one we would have chosen, but we have no doubt God is with us.
My job at the church is going very well - we are really busy with preparations to move into the new building in April, as well as preparing for our upcoming Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp. The boys are doing great at school - they really like it and have adjusted very well.
Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes - blessings to you all!

Oh, that's disappointing about the loan; I hear it's much harder to get funding now. Too bad they weren't more careful with those who never should have been granted loans to begin with!
I hope something comes through and that you are able to complete your new home. Glad to read that things are going well otherwise. :)
Angela - I swear that I responded to this back in March .... that'sd a little odd! wonder what I did!
sorry about the funding ... what a mess the market is right now, isn't it? I hope for the best for the family, of course - as you know all things happen for reasons! :)
glad to hear all else is well, and I hope that baseball is going well for you all! :)
