What an awesome weekend!

Last week ended with a bang... I was super busy at work, and got so much accomplished -everything on my list was checked off! Gotta love when that happens!

Construction resumed on the house Thursday, and it was great to see progress again. I was thrilled to be able to call in an inspection first thing this morning - on the footers for the piers under the deck. :o) The block walls in the basement have been framed in as well, with the exception of the bathroom.

On the agenda for this week is electrical ... once that mess is finally sorted out they will be able to do drywall. Then it will actually look like a house! (And then I can call in favors for people to help us paint!)

My birthday weekend was so great! Friday night had a double date ... we went to Bridge Street and ate at PF Changs and had lots of laughs! Saturday we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then checked into the Embassy Suites for the night! The boys came with us and played in the indoor pool, then Uncle Mike and Aunt Tara picked them up and took them to Chuck E Cheese. Wade ordered in Steak Out and gave me control of the remote for the weekend and we watched frivolous TV.... Miss America Pagent, What Not to Wear, Castaway, The Notebook... LOL... he'll never do that again! But it was great to relax, spend time together, and just veg - something we NEVER, EVER do! After all the food we ate, we even used the hotel gym!

We ended the weekend with our awesome Sunday Night church service. I feel so very blessed!
